BMW m5

Today story...wanna share with all guy out there about BMW m5 and why you need to have it ..I ask many of my girl friend about what the branded car do they want to have....guess what.. i thought that their answer will tend to have porche, lambo or ferrari...suprisingly..most of them like to have BMW 5 series..it has more like corporate look for those who own the car..yup..i also got fascinating with the car look..BMW 5 series  had got more criticize even though being the  most popular car in sedan category..It is noted for its non traditional BMW design, the most controversial being the "Bangle butt" rear-end, though since then critics have said that the design has aged well as of 2010. I starting to like it since i know about the m5...a similar shape with ordinary 5 series ( same shape? wth )..feel bit dissapointed because for most of the people, ordinary people that doesnt concern much about car they will still assume that M5 also like ordinary 5 series, they cant even differentiate whether it is m5 or ordinary 5...anyway..presenting BMW m5

so is it same as ordinary 5 rite...huhuhu..looking at the body, not much difference accept the side grill only which can be done at workshop..The different between those two is lie under the hood...The engine and technologies that differentiate it..

The M5 E60 is introduce in 2005 and it has 4,999cc v10 s85 engine. Unlike some other bmw car that using Valvetronic to infinitely vary valve lift to eliminate the throttle plate, this engine has individual throttle bodies per cylinder. It can develop 507bhp at 7750rpm and it can sprint to 100km/j (60mph) at 3.8 second only

M5 also equip with 7 speed SMG III sequential manual transmission..Thus make it responsive at track but general lack of smoothness in daily driving (whateva)..as long m5 is fast, others fact doesnt count :p

There are best thing bout the gear system in M5..Drivelogic system @ idrive which make the changing gear can be made with either console shifter or steering wheel mounted shift paddles like in F1 car. price of m5 in my country...sadly said...range from rm800k to rm1.2 mil :'(

So that all i can share..here some picture of m5...enjoy

That all folks for BMW m5.....

Here Some comment for the Italia 458 jobs :p

Our Supercar of the Year is the new benchmark in getting from A to B as rapidly as possible. This car is compliant and controlled like no other supercar you have ever driven. Period. Don’t think improved, think altogether different to. This is a game-changing car.
because it’s our winner because the scope of its abilities is absolutely breathtaking. … the 458 Italia isn’t just a worthy winner, it’s off the scale.,

"The Ferrari 458 Italia is described as a real technological icon with innovations from F1 and an unbeatable performance
"Ferrari put its soul in this car, a synthesis of the highest form of technology"
"The 458 Italia is an awesome example of car-making art at its highest level and is probably the finest sports car you can buy."
"The steering is incredibly sharp, but there's none of the wound-up feel of previous models. The 458 goes sideways but it doesn't come off the slide with a bang, more a polite murmur."

"The Italia feels like a feisty thoroughbred stallion you are convinced is going to run away with you, but very quickly you realise that it can cope with anything the road can throw at you, thanks to an impressive array of gadgetry. It grips the road like a leech and seems to get more grip the harder you go, almost challenging you to go faster."
"World’s best, the new reference point to beat."

"It’s our “golden wheel”. If we had to pick our top 10 in terms of driving pleasure the new Ferrari 458 Italia would happily take the top spot."
"The 458 Italia’s breathtaking acceleration is a moment of happiness even for the ears and the steering’s sweetness allows you to take corner after corner without getting tired."

"Turn the key, prepare for hyperspace. Only the Italians could invent such an expensive mistress, but then only the Italians could flatter you in the way the 458 does. The low-slung seats – you can visit the factory and select the color of the stitching and seatbelts to match your chosen paintwork – elevate you above everything else on the road."

"This 458 Italia has totally conquered us. This new two-seater mid-engine model from Ferrari gave us a lecture in dynamics with its ability of drift control."
"I drove the 458 solidly for five hours and came away hugely impressed. It responded to my two big doubts (the gearbox and steering) in the best possible way: by putting a smile on my face."
"The latest all-new Ferrari is the most useable yet - a racer for the road but with more than a nod in the direction of GT talents as well. Perhaps the greatest compliment we can pay the 458 is that it no longer feels like it needs a Challenge Stradale or Scuderia version. The 458 does it all. And does it bloody well."
"Born out of competence, but foremost out of the best Ferrari engineers’ passion. A car introducing unseen technical content, but also a supercar completely involving the driver. Easy to exploit and exhilarating on the road and on the track."
"Ferrari without limits. Smooth on the road, angry on the track."

"The incredible technological evolution of the supercar. The 458 Italia is the result of a new way of interpreting sportiness made in Maranello, creating a formula of sustainable development of the traditional Ferrari values, valid today and even more so in the future."

"The car amazes with its stability to instill confidence ... It's also one of the prettiest and best engineered supercars of this century"

my comment: no comment :))

Today i wanna talk about a car which struck my eyes yesterday..love at first sight lol.
The first thing that is noticable about the Ferrari 458 Italia when you first catch a glimpse of one is that it is a much bolder, different design over the F430 than the F430 was over the 360 Modena. The F430 is an obvious evolution from the 360 Modena that went before it. The styling cues are very similar. But the 458 Italia is, if not a complete departure, at least a radical re-think. There are one or two design homages paid too, especially from to the likes of the Ferrari Enzo and the simply stunning one off Pininfarina designed P4/5. The F430 was slightly more aggressive styling than the 360 Modena, but the 458 Italia is quite simply on another level design wise. It almost looks like Pininfarina were in a bad mood and ready for a fight when they put digital pen to paper.
There are things you immediately notice when you climb in and start one up as well. Firstly, it is much more dignified when you start the engine up. It doesn't scream into life and blow out all the neighbours windows. The engine catches and then quickly settles into a gentle tickover. It will turn the heads of peopl walking down the street but it won't wake the neighbours up.
The Ferrari 458 Italia shares some things with the Ferrari California. Most noticably when you move off you find that the gearbox is much nicer than the one in the F430. The Italia's is the same gearbox that is in the California, being a 7 speed dual clutch system which makes the car much easier to drive, especially in traffic. It seems though that these gearboxes are getting so good, it will be the only gearbox option on the 458 Italia.
The engine is the same block as used in the California too, except it takes on different characteristics after the aluminium has been cast. The stroke has been increased to give 4.5 litres instead of 4.3 and it is now good for 9000 revs and 562 bhp. That's 125 bhp per litre. And there are no turbo's or superchargers involved here. That's also a 70 bhp increase over the ordinary F430 but despite this, the 458 Italia is more economical and produces less CO2.
So from that 562 bhp we're looking at a top speed of 202 mph and a blistering 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds. That means that the new Ferrari 458 Italia will hit the same top speed as a Lamborghini Gallardo, it is quicker by 0.3 seconds to 60 and you will go 2 extra miles on a tank of fuel. Move over Lambo, the king is back.

Car Thieves An Ounce of Prevention

It is an unfortunate fact of life for truck owner's but it seems more and more that when you leave anything around your truck unbolted or unwatched those precious or even not so precious items seem to have legs , walk off and disappear all by themselves. Even if you live in or have moved into a safe area Shinder says "drive careful".

What can an ordinary run of the mill Ford, Chevy GM or now import working guy types do to secure their trucks and their truck boxes that are in plain, open or even bed liner closed conditions.

As a simple analogy always remember that at job sites that fence have to be erected to keep people out. Even so at many job sites security guards are still hired so crooks cannot get at the valuables - lock up your construction and building materials tight and safe. You might want to arrange to place your vehicle in a locked up garage if possible during the overnight time periods. Metal and steel toolboxes work out well for people who carry a smaller amount of tools and supplies around. If you transport larger amounts of these items, then a job site "box" might be a wiser and better choice and consideration . Jobsite box container products refer to a large container in essence that can be actually physically left at a job site. They are most secure, can be counted on and come in any of large variety of sizes , shapes and options. In this day and age of the internet if you cannot arrange for 24/7 or ongoing sporadic night watchmen inspection then an alternative is to have your truck viewed and scanned by electronic surveillance systems. Believe it or not - if the cost justifies it surveillance can be accomplished through wireless internet surveillance systems. These are accomplished with the new cutting edge EV-DO and WiMax wireless internet providers. Contact your local isp's and cell phone providers. The next rule of thumb is to have your vehicle watched at least during vulnerable times.

People that drive open-bed pickup trucks have a real challenge when it comes to vehicle security, You can buy a canopy and secure it in that way but some of the times - There are several ways that you can solve this problem. One way is to install a permanent toolbox that mounts on the rails of your truck box and has either two lids or one single solitary large lid that opens from either side or back to front. These tool-boxes are available in steel, plastic as well as aluminum construction materials. Add to this the laws of the roadways and your neighborhood police who may not take kindly to your driving down the street road or highways with your rear tailgate open and almost flapping in the wind as you drive down the road carrying your loads in your truck.

What to do for open boxes and prevention of theft? One option suggested and recommended by experienced trucking security experts in the automotive fields is a steel or aluminum toolbox. To secure a van from intruders you can buy what is called a hasp-n-lock. This type of lock is a puck-style unit with two plates of steel around it. When installed correctly a hasp in lock is almost impossible to remove and keeps your tools and equipment most safe. Available at most locksmiths, highly recommended and costs in the range of approx $ 170 - 200 plus taxes. Be variable , flexible and innovative. For example - small part bins can be utilized to organize fittings. Larger bins can be used to house small tools . This way you will not hear the roll across the truck bed floor of those odd parts and most essential tools and appliances.

Pleasant and safe driving as you travels and works your neighborhoods and satisfies your customers with the workmanship of your trades.

5 fuel economy tips

As petrol prices seemingly increase almost weekly, it doesn't take much convincing for any motorist to adjust their driving habits and save a little money. Whilst our regular car service will go a long way to keeping your engine performing efficiently there are several things you can do as a driver to make sure you get the best value for money at the pump.

One of the major features of new vehicles which every manufacturer is keen to point out to potential buyers is fuel efficiency. And whilst these figures are important because they tell us how efficient an engine can be, it is not the end of the story. The more important factors are how you drive the car and how you look after your engine.

So, with these things in mind let's look at five fuel economy tips which you can start following today to maximise the mileage you get from your tankful.

Car Maintenance. Your vehicle should always be serviced in accordance with the recommended intervals in your handbook. A regular car service will ensure that your engine remains in tiptop condition and that is tuned to maximise fuel efficiency. Apart from the safety angle, regular servicing has a major impact upon fuel efficiency.

Driving Style. An aggressive driving style where you accelerate quickly and brake just as fast, is a sure-fire way to increase your fuel consumption. Accelerating slowly and braking gently can save up to 33% on the highway and at least 5% of your fuel costs around town. At today's petrol prices the savings will soon add up.

Observe Speed Limits. In addition to the above tip, bear in mind that if you exceed speed limits you will significantly increase your fuel consumption. Think of it this way, for every 8 km/h over the speed limit it is like paying an extra five cents per litre!

Take the Weight off. Make sure you remove any heavy items from the vehicle if you don't need them. This is especially the case with the things you keep in your boot. Also, remember to remove things like roof racks when they are not in use as a can act as a substantial wind drag on your vehicle and increase fuel consumption substantially.

Use Your Accessories. It is surprising how many drivers fail to use cruise control on highway driving. When traffic is flowing regularly, cruise control is one of the most efficient ways to minimise fuel consumption. So if you don't know how to use it, read the handbook!

Use Overdrive. In addition to using cruise control make sure you use the overdrive gear whilst cruising on the highway. This will ensure that you maintain speed at the most optimum engine usage.

It doesn't take much to realise how simple maximising fuel consumption can be when you follow these simple tips. Paying your mechanic for your next car service will also get a little easier if you save money every time you drive your vehicle!
